The Bottega Family Wine Portfolio is a prestige wine portfolio of high quality wines and spirits. The Bottega family own Da Capo vineyards in Sir Lowry’s Pass Stellenbosch where Idiom wines is situated and Whalehaven Winery in Hermanus. The founding vision was to create a portfolio of wines, each as good as the next, yet with their own distinct character. In this portfolio there are two styles of wine that are symbolic of the bridge in the Bottega family’s history, with roots part in Europe and part in South Africa.

IDIOM COLLECTION – STELLENBOSCH

Idiom is a celebration of wine and words. The award-winning range of premium wines stem from the Bottega family’s Da Capo vineyards, which are located in the southernmost part of the Stellenbosch wine region, near Sir Lowry’s Pass, overlooking False Bay.

WHALEHAVEN WINES – HERMANUS

Whalehaven is a boutique winery based in the Hermanus region of Walker Bay. The winery, renowned for creating elegant, fine wines using noble French varietals cultivated in a traditional style of the masterful crus of Burgundy that exibit finesse and classic sophistication.

VINOTRIA IMPORTS – ITALIAN WINES

Vinotria is one of South Africa’s leading importers & distributors of Italian wines. It has grown since its inception in 2010 to be a key partner, importer and distributor for Italian wine estates looking to grow their presence in the South African market. Started by two Italians living in South Africa, Roberto Bottega & Pedro Estrada Belli, they decided to share their passion for Italy and Italian wines with the local market.
